The correlation of tumor markers, neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio and FDG PET/CT measures in pancreatic cancer

Objective:This review will outline the correlation of tumor markers and NLR (Neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio) with measures such as MTV (mean total volume), TLG (total lesion glycolysis), SUV (standart uptake value) in 18F FDG PET/CT pancreatic carcinoma goal selection appropriate treatment modality decrease rates failure recurrences by using markers. In this way, we can predict results imaging modalities, easy lab technics tm markers.
 Methods:45 patients that new diagnosed cancer were included study. Diagnosis confirmed cytology. Their marker levels (CA 19.9, CEA AFP), measurements (SUVmax, SUVmean, TLG, MTV) obtained. Patients already diagnosed, followed up or treated oncology department, excluded.
 Results:When compared size) there no significant difference between them. Also, values organs (liver, spleen, pancreas) not related levels. However, positive size SUVmax, (p=0.02 r = 0.347, p=0.022 0.340, p=0.008 =0.392).
 Conclusions:Tumor may help diagnosing managing malignities, but cannot according to So, must be used an adjunctive method for malignities. They major determiner Diagnosing following malignities should supported other laboratory methods.
